Subways and buses are the best transit option in nearly every part of the city. Carroll Hall is easily accessible via the Morgan Ave L subway station. You can tap your credit card or phone to pay the fare ($2.90). Many subway stations are wheelchair accessible with elevators; the Morgan Ave L station has a short flight of stairs.

For travel to and from the airports, there are a variety of public transit options depending on the airport. A car service costs around $50-$75 one way. Please reach out with any questions, we are happy to help you plan your travel options!

We love how New Yorkers use fashion as a creative medium. We invite you to explore bold fabrics, silhouettes, and accessories; after all, this is Brooklyn and anything goes! Some words you might consider when planning your look: Urban, chic, modern, cool, elegant, juxtaposed, bold, vibrant, sophisticated, sleek. The average temperature in Brooklyn in June is 70°F with a high of 76°F and a low of 64°F. Carroll Hall is entirely paved with stone and concrete, with a rocky uphill path to the treehouse.

Carroll Hall has both indoor and outdoor spaces. Our ceremony, dinner, and dancing will take place indoors in the air-conditioned warehouse. Cocktail hour and toasts will be outdoors in the paved garden. You can view photos of the spaces here.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children – thank you for your understanding. If you plan to travel with your children, we are happy to connect you with local childcare recommendations for the evening.

During the ceremony we ask that you please refrain from taking photos or videos. After the ceremony, you are welcome to take photos and videos as you please. Our brilliant friend and photographer Ari will be documenting the entire evening. We will be sure to share the photos with you once they're available.

We have the space until midnight and will be dancing until the very last minute! We would love for you to tear it up with us on the dance floor, but there will be a variety of late-night activities if you choose not to dance.

We love our names and will be keeping them! Although we’ll be married, we’ll still be known as Jennie Maydew and Kyle Wong.
